The network is made up of an increasingly diverse range of suppliers, supported by a professional management team, with manufacturing expertise, who provide solutions to buyers manufacturing requirements.

It differs from the many Trade Directories, in that the ABDN management team has a detailed knowledge of the capability of each member of the supplier group. At the same time we work alongside the buyer to precisely understand the requirement, chose the right supplier(s) and add engineering expertise and any third party support that may be required to achieve the optimum solution. It’s a highly proactive approach to ensure total buyer satisfaction.

At its simplest, we will take an enquiry for a component and provide a lowest cost, best-fit option. At the other end of the scale, the ABDN handles the manufacture of complex components, sub-assemblies, products and total packages of work.

• We work with suppliers to improve specific aspects of their business, if required.

• The ABDN management team has the support and total commitment of the supply group, who make an annual subscription to join the group.

• Many of the ABDN suppliers, supported by the ABDN management team, meet on a regular basis to discuss how best to improve their service to buyers.

• All suppliers are Quality approved to ISO9001 accredited or TS16949 and all are committed to Continuous Improvement, Total Cost Management and Operational Excellence.

• The Network is fully supported by the Manufacturing Advisory Service. (MAS)
