The ABDN offers buyers the capability and problem solving skills of a very large manufacturing company without any overheads.

It understands and co-ordinates the spare capacity and engineering excellence of the West Midlands supply base, combines it with a team of manufacturing specialists and support bodies and then focuses it to produce project managed, high quality, least cost, innovative products. In many cases it can also provide capital funding to support a project!!!

In fact, the press have called it West-Midlands plc.

The ABDN is actively seeking enquiries from buyers and entrepreneurs, in all market sectors, who have a manufacturing problem. We will then explain the benefits of dealing with the network and West Midlands based suppliers in terms of cost, logistics, communications, product development and manufacturing skills.

The network and the suppliers within it, will consider the manufacture of any type of work including components, assemblies and small products to product development and prototyping work.  Following an enquiry we will ensure that the most appropriate supplier(s) are selected. If at all possible, we can help take cost out of a product, by the application of a range of lean tools. We are also able to deal with complex packages of work requiring the co ordination of more than one supplier.

Over the last two years members of the network who in turn are all accredited to a high standard, are inter trading and working together in many different ways to mutual benefit. 

The ABDN is set up to achieve globally competitive levels of cost and quality and through professional project management is proving, on a daily basis, that a business relationship with the network is highly beneficial to both buyers and suppliers.
